John Considine – from Newcastle West, County Limerick, former Secretary of Limerick WSAC and Water Safety Development Officer of Limerick County Council

Michael Cuddihy
Michael Cuddihy has been a member of the board since 1987. During this time he has served on many national and international committees and is currently the Chairman of the Sports Commission. He has a special interest in promoting sport within international lifesaving and has brought teams to South Africa, Australia, the USA and mainland Europe to compete successfully in international events.

Tom Doyle – from Wexford, former Chairman of Wexford WSAC and Water Safety Development Officer for Wexford County Council.

Paul Murphy – from Dublin, Chairman of Dublin WSAC and member of the IWS Lifeguard Commission

Christy McDonagh – member of Grainne Uaile Sub Aqua Club Ballina, County Mayo

Brendan McGrath
Brendan is current Chairman of Clare Water Safety Area Committee and serves on the Lifesaving Commission. Involved with water safety since 1970, Brendan is an active instructor, examiner and risk assessor.

Seamus O'Neill – Ballyshannon, County Donegal, Treasurer of Donegal WSAC and Chairman of the IWS Sports Commission.

Lola O'Sullivan – from Tramore, County Waterford, Sports Officer Waterford WSAC and Councillor of Tramore UDC.
Lola has been involved with Water Safety for over 20 years. She is an active instructor in Waterford and teaches both in the pool environment and the open sea. Lola is very involved in Surf Lifesaving in Waterford. She has competed in Surf Lifesaving both Nationally and Internationally. She currently holds the positition as Sports Officer for Waterford. Lola also served as a crew member with the RNLI in Tramore. She currently serves as a Councillor on Waterford County Council and Tramore Town Council.

Martin O'Sullivan – from Cork, former Chairman of Cork WSAC and Chairman of the IWS Rescue Commission.

Tim O'Sullivan – Official of Dept. of Environment, Community & Local Government.
Assistant Principal Officer in theCommunity Division of the Department of Environment, Community and Local Government, based in the Department’s offices in Tubbercurry, Co. Sligo. Department’s representative on the Council of IWS since Novermber 2011. Originally from Sneem, Co. Kerry and now living in Ballinrobe, Co. Mayo. Chairman of Ballinrobe Tidy Towns and a community director for Ballinrobe Community Playgroup.

Anne Ryan – from Wexford, Secretary of Wexford WSAC and member of the IWS Lifeguard Commission.
Is an IWS Instructor, Examiner, Pool andBeach Lifeguard Provider, Paws , National & International Referee. She is currently Hon Sec and Adult Education Officer of Wexford Water Safety Area Committee, Adult classes take place on Wednesday nights in Ferrybank pool, Wexford. She runs Cahore Water Safety Week each year. She is on her second term as a Council Member, commencing 2006. She has worked on the Lifeguard Commission with special responsibility for FETAC and the updating of the IWS awards.
